This year's Festival features 80+ installations, workshops, performances, tours, exhibitions, discussions and public programs exploring the role of design thinking in bringing together and building trust among diverse communities. Key events include:
Opening Party - September 6 / The Collective
Join us at the creative urban clubhouse Collective Seattle to launch our two-week celebration of design.
Block Party - September 8 & 9 / Occidental Park
A two-day street fair at Occidental Park featuring design installations that explore TRUST.
Design Discussions - September 11 + 20
Curated interactive workshops and panel discussions exploring TRUST in design, including the signature Technology Design Discussion with Microsoft.

PARK(ing) Day - September 21 / Citywide
A globally-celebrated event when metered parking spots are transformed into parklets. Applications due August 24.

The public and the press are invited to the public unveiling of the 2018 Seattle Design Festival: TRUST. Festival staff and organizers will highlight this year's festival, followed by sneak peeks from select Festival partners. Get your very own SDF 2018 swag at our screen printing station. Be sure to bring a t-shirt or tote to print on!
